School of the Arts To Host Bush Mango Drum & Dance

A performance by Bush Mango Drum & Dance will take place at School of the Arts, 45 Prince Street, on Monday, April 9 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
The performing and teaching ensemble features traditional West African dance and drumming. It has performed extensively throughout the Rochester area.
The event is part of the MECA (Monday Evening Creative Arts) presentation series. It is funded by a grant from the Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester with support from the New York State Council on the Arts and the New York State Legislature.

Who: Joan and Nathan Lyons: Visual Studies Workshop

Come join us as Joan and Nathan Lyons, co-founders of the Visual Studies Workshop, share their creative process on the 35th anniversary of their "creation." The Visual Studies Workshop is committed to expanding the potential of the media arts and their impact on visual culture through innovative programs in education, research, production, and community service.
